A team of
robotics students from Eindhoven’s University of Technology have won gold in
this year’s Robocup World Cup football for robots.
The Dutch
team Tech United beat China’s team Water 3-2 in the final of the ‘middle-sized
league’. Water beat Tech United in the same competition in Eindhoven last year.
Like the
Fifa football World Cup, the competition, involving robots from all over the
world, took place in Brazil.
